Security Services in Tulsa

Armed and unarmed officers for schools, hospitals and businesses across the Tulsa metro and northeast Oklahoma, staffed by people who’ve already done the job.

Officers from the agencies that police this region

TriStar was founded by a retired Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper with nearly twenty years in law enforcement, and we hire the way he would. Our officers are active and retired law enforcement from sheriff’s offices, municipal police departments and the Highway Patrol, along with military veterans.

We staff every post from the area it covers. A Tulsa-area contract is worked by officers who live and work in the Tulsa area, supervised from our headquarters in McAlester.

School resource officers under SB 1521

Every public school district in Oklahoma receives state School Security funding that can go toward a school resource officer.

SB 1521 tells districts to look first to a commissioned officer from their local law enforcement agency. Where that agency can’t assign one, the law lets the district contract a retired law enforcement officer or a licensed security officer instead.

That’s the gap we fill. We place full-time officers on campus who are current on active shooter threat response training and meet every SB 1521 requirement. We also run annual active threat training for faculty and staff.

If you’re a superintendent with security funding and no officer to assign, give us a call.
